Carla + Andy
The bride, a Chicago-native, wanted to bring her love for Arts and Crafts period art, architecture and typefaces into her wedding suite. In developing her design, I paid homage to the beautiful architecture of the historic Kenilworth Club, where she and her fiancé Andy were married.
The printed materials, including two save the date cards and a laser die cut invitation featured custom illustrations of the Kenilworth’s windows. I matched the colors to the club’s overall décor and even the fonts I used closely matched the club’s and the adjacent Kenilworth train station’s exterior signage. The final pieces were printed on luxurious copper metallic and ivory pearlescent paper stock.
